Prosser Climate Element Draft

Prosser's first-ever Climate Element is being developed to guide the city towards a more resilient and sustainable future. This draft Climate Element is part of Prosser's Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update 2026, per Washington's Climate Commitment Act. This draft is a direct result of extensive public engagement, shaped by ideas and priorities from residents, stakeholders, and members of the Climate Advisory Team (CAT).

The first 10 pages of this document share the process and results for Prosser’s greenhouse gas and climate vulnerability assessments. The proposed goals and policies begin on page 11 in the Greenhouse Gas Reduction and Climate Resilience Sub-Elements.
